During 7 hours of Mentor Coaching, you will have the opportunity to review and practice all ICF Core Competencies in a supportive group setting.
You will coach and observe others coach, and participate in feedback to make the debrief a learning experience for everyone. If pertinent to our sessions, we can also review the ICF Code of Ethics and discuss coaching best practices.
7 hours of group mentor coaching.
The 3 group sessions are scheduled on:
Limited to 10 coaches per group.
Anyone can join this programme, but it can only be used as mentor coaching for ACC & PCC credential applications & renewals. We currently do not offer mentor coaching for MCC.
During our first session, you will meet the rest of the group, and we will contract around what everyone hopes to achieve during the mentor coaching. That includes specific skills you want to focus on, or specific challenges you may have encountered in your practice.
In our second session, two participants will coach another for 30 minutes, while the rest of the group observes. We will then have a group conversation on the skills that were demonstrated.
The third session will be the opportunity to discuss the competencies if the group has any questions. We will also observe a live coaching session and debrief it. We will then close with reflections on learning and how you want to move forward in your practice.
If you need to complete 10 hours of mentor coaching, including 3 individual sessions, please go to this page instead.
All our sessions are held on Zoom.
Marion Tilly will be facilitating this group mentor coaching. She is an ICF PCC-credentialed coach and the founder of the Institute.
