Mentor Coaching Programme (10 hours) – January 2024

This full mentor coaching programme of 10 hours will enable you to learn for 7 hours in a group setting with fellow coaches and to develop yourself further during 3 individual sessions of 1 hour each.

During the 7 hours of Mentor Coaching, you will have the opportunity to review and practice all ICF Core Competencies in a supportive group setting. You will coach and observe others coach, and participate in feedback to make the debrief a learning experience for everyone. If pertinent to our sessions, we can also review the ICF Code of Ethics and discuss coaching best practices.

For each individual session, you will record a session of 30 minutes which you will send the mentor coach beforehand. You will then debrief those together during your 1:1 sessions.

Combine the 7 hours of group mentor coaching with 3 hours of individual mentoring.

The 7 hours of group mentor coaching are scheduled on:

  • January 15th, 2024 – 1:30pm to 3:30pm (UK time)
  • February 19th 2024 – 1pm to 3:30am (UK time)
  • March 11th 2024 – 1pm to 3:30am (UK time)

The 3 individual sessions can be scheduled after the last group session.

In brief

Anyone can join this programme, but it can only be used as mentor coaching for ACC & PCC credential applications & renewals. We currently do not offer mentor coaching for MCC.

During our first group session, you will meet the rest of the group, and we will contract around what everyone hopes to achieve during the mentor coaching. That includes specific skills you want to focus on, or specific challenges you may have encountered in your practice.

In our second group session, two participants will coach another for 30 minutes, while the rest of the group observes. We will then have a group conversation on the skills that were demonstrated.

The third group session will be the opportunity to discuss the competencies if the group has any questions. We will also observe a live coaching session and debrief it. We will then close with reflections on learning and how you want to move forward in your practice.

The individual sessions will be dedicated to the debrief and feedback of the recordings you will send your mentor coach, as well as answering all your questions.

In this case, you can check this page which is the registration page of the group sessions.

All our sessions are held on Zoom.

Marion Tilly will be facilitating this group mentor coaching. She is an ICF PCC-credentialed coach and the founder of the Institute.
