What makes the ACC exam challenging isn’t the content itself. You are a qualified and experienced coach. You’ve already shown evidence that you know how to coach with the other requirements of your ACC application.
The difficulty is being able to consistently demonstrate your knowledge of the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics and identify the best response among several nuanced options — while having to manage the pressure of the exam format, which is timed and closed-book (no help allowed).
This course will help you understand what the ICF assesses and the logic behind correct answers so you can approach each question with clarity and confidence rather than doubt.
The ICF ACC Exam is the final step of the ACC credentialing process.
You will have 90 minutes to answer 60 multiple-choice questions on coaching ethics, the definition and boundaries of coaching, and coaching competencies, strategies, and techniques.
Each question has four possible answers with one correct response.

The course is for everyone who aims to apply for their ICF ACC credential. Because of the 4-month access, we recommend that you register for this preparation course once you have already submitted your ICF ACC application.
Once the ICF has approved your application, you will be invited to book your exam date. You will have 60 days from that email to book and take your exam. The preparation course will be a great resource to have during that timeframe.
Absolutely. Feel free to sign up for the free on-demand study group we recently facilitated. It will give you a good snapshot of the exam format and content.
