ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Institute of Coaching Studies Limited is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882), as transposed into Irish law by the European Union (Accessibility Requirements of Products and Services) Regulations 2023 (S.I. No. 636/2023).

Conformance Status

This website is partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Non-Accessible Content

We are aware of the following accessibility issues and are actively working to resolve them:

  • Colour contrast: Some buttons do not meet the minimum contrast ratio requirements (WCAG 1.4.3)
  • Heading structure: Heading levels are not always sequential, which may affect navigation for screen reader users (WCAG 1.3.1)
  • Link purpose: Some links do not clearly describe their destination when read out of context (WCAG 2.4.4)
  • Video captions: Some video content does not include captions (WCAG 1.2.2)

We are working to address these issues by March 31st, 2026.

How We Tested

This website was evaluated using automated accessibility testing tools including Accessibility Checker and Silktide. We conduct regular reviews to identify and address accessibility barriers. Moving forward, all new content published on our website will follow WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
