Course Content

Complete the Cognitive Behavioural Coaching Micro-certification to strengthen your ability to work with clients’ thoughts, beliefs, and behaviours within a coaching context. You will explore evidence-based CBC principles and apply practical tools during live sessions, supported by guided reflection on your coaching interventions.

The programme follows a structured, practice-led approach that helps you integrate cognitive behavioural coaching techniques into your existing coaching practice. By the end of the course, you will have increased confidence using CBC tools ethically and effectively, and a clearer understanding of how to apply them across a range of coaching sessions.

No prior clinical or mental health training is required. This course is focused on coaching within your professional scope. You’ll learn evidence-informed tools and frameworks that help you support clients safely and confidently.

Yes. This course is experiential and designed for practical learning through coaching practice. Participants are expected to both coach and be coached on topics related to mental health, emotional well-being, and challenges within a coaching context. If you feel like you may not be ready to participate in such sessions, it is best to not sign up for the course at this point in time, and maybe to revisit it at a later stage.

All activities are conducted in a safe, supportive, and non-clinical environment, with guidance from the trainer to ensure conversations remain ethical, respectful, and within the scope of coaching. You will gain confidence in holding these conversations, applying evidence-informed tools, and maintaining appropriate boundaries while practicing your skills.

Yes. This is an ICF-approved Continuing Coach Education (CCE) programme. You will earn 14 CCE credits (10 Core Competencies and 4 Resource Development) that can support ACC, PCC and MCC credential renewal.

The programme is delivered online on Zoom. Each class combines short presentations, demonstrations, practice exercises, and group discussions in a small, supportive cohort.

The course handbook you will be sent ahead of the first class is yours to keep forever.

Yes. Even if you are not currently renewing or applying for credentials, the course is a practical way to expand your coaching toolkit and integrate evidence-based cognitive behavioural methods into your practice.
