Renewal Of Our ICF Level 1 Accreditation

We are delighted to announce that the International Coaching Federation (ICF) has renewed the Level 1 accreditation of our Professional Coaching Skills Certification programme.

The course was originally granted the Level 1 accreditation in December 2020, and successfully went through its first renewal cycle.

A Certificate of Accreditation from ICF for the Institute of Coaching Studies as a Level 1 ICF Accredited Coaching Education Provider, approved for 75 hours, awarded on 19 December 2020 and valid through 31 January 2027.

What is the ICF programme accreditation renewal like?

Like for the individual credentials for coaches (ACC, PCC, MCC), accredited programmes have to renew their accreditation every 3 years if they wish to continue to deliver ICF-accredited certificates.

The renewal process is straightforward. We were asked to fill in a form to share any updates we have made to the curriculum since the last review. We went through the course content and materials, as well as the way we deliver the course, but also the trainers, mentors and assessors who are part of the faculty team.

What does it mean for coaches?

The accreditation renewal means that the certificates we deliver for coaches who complete the Professional Coaching Skills Certification programme will continue to have the ICF Level 1 stamp on it until at least January 2027.

This certificate enables you to apply for your ICF ACC via the Level 1 path.
