New Verified Badges For Alumni

The Institute of Coaching Studies has partnered with Credly to deliver verified badges to coaches who receive their Level 1 certification and their LeveL 2 diploma.

Each time a coach successfully completes their coach training, they will be sent their certification or diploma by email, and will also be issued a badge. They can choose to claim it on Credly if they wish.

This enables coaches to not only demonstrate their qualifications, but it also allows prospective clients to verify them. We know all too well that building credibility is essential for coaches, particularly for coaches who are at the start of their coaching career. We wanted to support our graduates and alumni to show their commitment to become great coaches.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

To receive the Certified Coach badge, a coach needs to have successfully completed the ICF Level 1 Professional Coaching Skills Certification. That means:

To receive the Certified Advanced Coach badge, a coach needs to have successfully completed the two modules of the ICF Level 2 Advanced Diploma in Coaching. The requirements of this badge are the same as the certification, but multiplied by 2 as there are two modules to complete.

One important aspect to share is that those badges will only be delivered to participants who have completed the full training. Coaches who didn’t finish the programme are not eligible.

We’ve already sent the badges to all the alumni who have graduated, and we hope they can use those badges to develop their practice.
