New Micro-certification on Mental Health Coaching

We are delighted to announce the launch of the final CPD course of 2025: our Mental Health Coaching Micro-certification.

The programme has been granted the Continuing Coach Education (CCE) accreditation by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Upon completion of the micro-certification, you will receive 14 CCE credits (10 in Core competencies and 4 in Resource development).

The Institute is proud to continue to partner with the ICF to offer courses that support coaches’ credentialing journey.

Large gradient letters “CCE” are at the top. Below, it says “ICF Continuing Coach Education.” At the bottom is the ICF logo with a green and blue swoosh forming part of the letter C.

What is the programme about?

The course teaches experienced coaches how to skillfully and safely navigate mental health topics within coaching, staying fully within coaching’s scope and boundaries.

Over four half-day online sessions, you will work with practical tools, models, case studies, and peer learning to recognise signs of anxiety, depression, burnout and other issues as they arise in clients. You willl know when you can support your clients’ well-being as a coach, and when it is important to refer clients to other types of support. We cover Acceptance Commitment Coaching as a framework for coaches to facilitate mental health conversations in coaching.
