We are delighted to announce the launch of a new micro-certification on Somatic Coaching.
If you’re an experienced coach looking to deepen your practice by incorporating the body, movement, and somatic awareness, this could be the course you’ve been looking for.
What is Somatic Coaching?
Somatic coaching is about bringing into awareness the ways the body and nervous system are involved in people’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Somatic coaches help their clients sense and notice how their body responds during the session, and integrating that awareness to create new insights.
About the micro-certification
This course is designed for qualified and experienced coaches who want to add somatic tools to their coaching toolbox.
In this two-day programme, you’ll learn more about the soma, what embodiment means in coaching, and why the body can be a source of information for your clients. You’ll learn how to introduce somatic activities into your coaching, including a simple framework to use, somatic questions to ask and prompts to share in sessions. You’ll get to practice with other participants in a safe environment so you can immediately apply what you are learning.
Upon successful completion of the two-day programme, you will receive 14 ICF CCE credits (11 in Core Competencies and 3 in Resource Development).
